In a cryptic Instagram carousel, Presley shared a collection of photos and videos featuring his famous parents.
The post was accompanied by a voice exclaiming, “Guys, I did it,” and the statement, “I’ve found the one who makes me the happiest person I’ve ever been.” One of the video clips displayed Lexi Wood sporting a “Gerber” jersey.
Typical of the enigmatic style often embraced by members of Generation Z, this potential announcement was intermingled with unrelated images, including a close-up shot of Presley holding onto Wood’s bikini-clad buttocks and another of an eye.
Lexi Wood lent further weight to the proposal speculation by sharing Presley’s post on her Instagram Story, along with emojis representing a lock and key, a heart, and an infinity symbol.
She also left a comment on Presley’s post that simply read, “loving you,” to which the Celine ambassador responded with, “is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.”
The couple’s engagement was celebrated at a party hosted by Presley’s younger sister, 21-year-old Kaia Gerber. While many congratulatory comments flooded the post, some advised the couple to consider a longer engagement.
