During her 2022 Halloween party, Heidi Klum faced a unique challenge. She was dressed in an elaborate worm costume, and she knew that using the restroom would not be an easy task.
When asked how she planned to manage this issue while wearing the costume, Klum addressed it on the red carpet at Sake No Hana in the Moxy Lower East Side hotel. She acknowledged that it would be a complex process, as a substantial portion of her intricate prosthesis would have to be removed. Klum explained, “When it’s time for me to go, I’ll have to undo my straps and find a way to get out of there.”
In a nod to her former Project Runway co-host, Tim Gunn, Klum added, “As Tim Gunn would say, ‘Make it work.'”
The model openly admitted that the costume, which had taken over ten hours to create, left her feeling claustrophobic and in need of assistance to move around. She shared with the media present at the event, “Moving around is difficult for me. I don’t have arms or legs. So when I fall, I require assistance from another person to get back up. You see, I’m trapped in it if that makes any sense. It has a suffocating effect on one’s feelings.”
Later in the evening, Klum underwent a transformation, shedding her slimy costume and revealing a dazzling mesh outfit that left little to the imagination.
For the event, the former Victoria’s Secret model arrived as a worm, while her husband, Tom Kaulitz, portrayed the fisherman who had “caught” her on his line.
Before the couple entered the VIP section of the star-studded 21st annual event, Kaulitz, 33, shared a passionate kiss with Klum on the red carpet.
Other notable guests at the Halloween party included Ice-T and Coco, Kim Petras, Heather Graham, and Leni Klum, Heidi Klum’s model daughter. Also in attendance were Elon Musk and his mother, Maye. Partygoers enjoyed dancing to music spun by Questlove while sipping specialty Baileys cocktails.
