The 31-year-old model made waves on TikTok when she posted a video on Monday. In the video, she lip-synced to the lyrics of Taylor Swift’s song “Karma,” featured on Swift’s latest album, “Midnights.”
The lyrics go:
“’Cause karma is my boyfriend / Karma is a god / Aren’t you jealous that it’s not a peaceful notion for you? / Karma is the breeze that blows through my hair on the weekend. / Karma is a comforting thought.”
Dressed in all black with bold crimson lipstick, she playfully described karma as sweet as honey.
The video was captioned with a simple, “KARMA IS MY BOYFRIEND.”
Fans and followers flocked to the comments section, with one of her nearly 2 million followers suggesting that Swift’s album “Midnights” was practically tailor-made for her.
Emrata herself responded with a questioning, “I believe that to be the case?!”
Even Taylor Swift chimed in with a comment on the video, stating, “Standing ovation for this.” To which the author of “My Body” enthusiastically replied, “This album is amazing!”
While Emrata appears to have faith in karma, she recently revealed that she’s been going through a challenging time following her breakup with the producer, who she discovered had been unfaithful.
