12 ounces (about 340 grams) of fettuccine pasta

Instructions:

Boil the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.

Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until it’s al dente.

Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of pasta cooking water, and set it aside.

Prepare the Sauce:

In a deep skillet or saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Once the butter is melted and slightly bubbly, pour in the heavy cream and stir well.

Allow the mixture to simmer gently for a few minutes.

Add Cheese:
